Turning 22 in San Francisco

Im never really one to make a big deal out of my birthday, its never really felt necessary for me to go all out. This year though it felt different, rather than just celebrating my birth this past weekend became about celebrating life in general. A lot of things have been changing in my life this year in terms of career, love life, friendships & mental health.

Despite all of the horrible events that took place this year paired with the embarrassing state of the united states currently, i couldn't help but feel thankful for where i am in life. I feel hopeful and inspired constantly, surrounding myself with positive energy has definitely impacted my new way of thinking. That and my lovely friends who are such a huge support system for me, with out those key pieces in my life living in LA would be a lot more dreadful. So this weekend was really not about my birthday but more about a moment of acceptance, gratefulness, and pure joy. Theres never a bad time to have one of those, right?

Love the UNIQLO coat and much respect towards your positive outlook on life, especially at a time where politics, society, and even the media seem so bleak. We just have to keep striving for the best!
